We are looking for you with a certificate or experience as a mechanic or fitter.
The work consists of equipping the boats we produce, including the installation of all types of mechanical equipment. Eg: installation of engines, cranes, fuel systems, cooling systems, hydraulic systems, sanitary systems etc.
If you have experience with surface treatment in combination with mechanical experience or education, this is a plus.
We provide you with training on the boats and systems.
Work tasks can be: Installation of all types of equipment on our vessels, e.g.:Occasional welding of brackets (aluminium)Assembly of the generator, engines, gears and propeller systemSurface treatmentMachiningInstallation of various pipes, filters and hose connectionsConstruction of complete systems, e.g.:Fuel systemsSanitary systemsCooling systemsFlushing and high-pressure flushing systemsHydraulic systemExhaust systemHeating systemEtc.Various other mechanical work.
Requirements/wishes Mainly mechanical education, preferably professional certificate as an industrial, agricultural, aircraft, car, ship mechanic or fitter. Industrial plumber is also desirable.Experience can replace the requirement for a professional certificate.The following additional qualifications count positively:Experience in shipbuilding or with larger machinesGood mood, good technical insight, initiative and good collaboration skills.Knowledge of hydraulics, troubleshooting and new plant construction
